1. What are cookies?
The short version Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites work properly, remember your preferences, and give website owners useful information about how their site is being used.
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your computer, phone, or tablet when you visit them. They’re widely used to make websites work, to remember your settings, and to provide information to website owners about how their site is used.
There are a few different types worth knowing about:
• First-party cookies are set by us (Momentus Technologies) when you visit www.myglide.ai.
• Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services appear on our pages — for example, our analytics provider.
• Session cookies are temporary and are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
• Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period (shown in the tables below) or until you delete them.
2. Why do we need your consent?
The short version UK law (PECR) and EU law (ePrivacy Directive) require us to ask for your permission before placing any non-essential cookies on your device. Essential cookies that make the site work don’t need consent. Everything else does.
In the UK, cookies are governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) alongside UK GDPR. In the EU, the ePrivacy Directive applies. Both require us to:
• Tell you clearly about the cookies we use and why.
• Ask for your consent before placing any non-essential cookies on your device.
• Give you a genuine, easy way to accept or decline.
• Make it just as easy to say no as to say yes.
We apply these same high standards to all users worldwide, even where local law may not require it.
3. Your cookie choices — how to manage them
The short version When you first visit our website, our cookie banner lets you choose which cookies to allow. You can change your mind at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in our footer. This always works — on any page, any time.
Our cookie banner
When you first visit www.myglide.ai, our cookie consent banner will appear. You can accept all cookies, decline non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Your choice is saved so we don’t ask again on every visit.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the Cookie Settings link in the footer of our website. This reopens the preference panel so you can update your choices.
Your browser settings
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
• See all cookies that have been set and delete them individually or in bulk.

4. Strictly necessary cookies
The short version These cookies are essential for www.myglide.ai to work. They can’t be switched off — without them, parts of the site simply wouldn’t function. They don’t collect information that could be used to identify or track you for marketing purposes.
Strictly necessary cookies don’t require your consent under PECR. They’re essential for things like keeping you logged in during a session, keeping your checkout secure, and remembering your cookie preferences.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| session_id | Keeps you logged in to your Glide account during a browsing session | Session (deleted when browser closes) |
| csrf_token | Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks — keeps your account secure | Session |
| cookie_consent | Stores your cookie consent preferences so we don’t ask again every visit | 12 months |
| cart_session | Remembers your subscription selection during checkout so you don’t lose it | Session |
Cookie names listed above reflect our current planned implementation. Actual cookie names will be confirmed against the live website build before publication of this policy.
5. Analytics cookies
The short version These cookies help us understand how people use our website — which pages are popular, where people drop off, and how we can improve things. They only work if you’ve given your consent. We anonymise or pseudonymise the data where possible.
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with www.myglide.ai so we can improve the experience. The data collected is aggregated and anonymised where possible. We don’t use these cookies to track you across other websites.

6. Functional and preference cookies
The short version These cookies remember your settings and preferences to give you a better, more personalised experience on our website. They only work if you’ve given your consent.
Functional cookies remember choices you make (like your language preference) so you don’t have to keep re-entering them. They make the website more convenient to use.
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| user_locale | Remembers your language and regional preference | 12 months |
| ui_theme | Remembers your display preference (e.g. light or dark mode if available) | 12 months |
| dismissed_banners | Remembers notices or announcements you’ve already seen and dismissed | 6 months |
7. Marketing and advertising cookies
The short version These are only active if you’ve specifically opted in. We use them to measure how effective our own marketing campaigns are — not to follow you around the internet or build an advertising profile. We never use your wellbeing or performance data for advertising.
We never use your wellbeing or performance data from the Glide app for advertising purposes. Marketing cookies only relate to your use of our website, www.myglide.ai.
Marketing cookies help us understand whether people who see our ads on other platforms (such as social media) go on to visit our website or subscribe. This helps us spend our marketing budget more effectively. These cookies are set only with your explicit opt-in consent.
| Cookie / Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _fbp (Meta / Facebook Pixel) | Measures whether visits to our site resulted from our own Meta advertising campaigns | 3 months |
| _ttp (TikTok Pixel) | Measures whether visits to our site resulted from our own TikTok advertising campaigns | 13 months |
| Google Ads Conversion | Tracks whether a visit to our site followed a click on our Google Ads campaign | 90 days |
These cookies do not allow us, or any of these platforms, to read any personal data stored on your device, or to access any data from within the Glide app.
8. Third-party services that use cookies
The short version Some features on our website involve third-party services that may set their own cookies. We don’t control these — each third party’s own privacy policy applies.
The following third-party services may set cookies when you use our website:
| Service | What they do | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Website analytics and usage measurement | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Stripe | Secure payment processing for subscriptions | stripe.com/privacy |
| Meta (Facebook) | Advertising campaign measurement (consent required) | facebook.com/privacy/policy |
| Google Ads | Advertising campaign measurement (consent required) | policies.google.com/privacy |
| TikTok | Advertising campaign measurement (consent required) | tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy |
We don’t control third-party cookies. For full details of how each provider uses data, please review their privacy policy.
9. The Glide mobile App
The short version The Glide app doesn’t use browser cookies. It uses similar technologies — like device identifiers and analytics SDKs — which are explained in our Privacy & Data Policy.
This Cookie Policy applies to www.myglide.ai only. The Glide mobile app (iOS and Android) doesn’t use browser cookies.
However, the app does use equivalent technologies — such as device identifiers (like Advertising IDs on iOS and Android) and analytics software development kits (SDKs) — to understand how the app is used and to support its functionality. These are described fully in our Privacy & Data Policy at www.myglide.ai/privacy-policy.
On iOS, you can limit ad tracking via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt that appears when you first open the app, or at any time by going to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and disabling tracking for Glide. On Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads → Optout of Ads Personalisation.
10. Browser privacy signals - DNT and GPC
The short version Some browsers send privacy signals to websites. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where we detect them — they’re treated as a valid opt-out for marketing and advertising. Do Not Track (DNT) has no universally agreed standard, so we don’t currently respond to DNT alone — but you can always use our Cookie Settings.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Global Privacy Control is a browser-based signal that tells websites you don’t want your personal data sold or shared, and that you don’t want to be tracked across other sites. We honourGPC signals where we detect them:
• For California residents, GPC is treated as a valid opt-out of “sale or sharing” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
• For all users worldwide, we treat GPC as a withdrawal of consent for marketing and advertising cookies (section 7).
• This applies automatically — you don’t need to take any further action.
GPC is available in privacy-focused browsers including Brave, DuckDuckGo, and via privacy extensions in Firefox and other browsers. Visit globalprivacycontrol.org for current information on how to enable it.
Do Not Track (DNT)
Do Not Track is an older browser signal that pre-dates GPC. There is currently no universally agreed technical standard for how websites should respond to DNT, and many privacy-protection signals have moved to GPC instead. Our website does not currently alter its behaviour in response to DNT alone — but if your browser sends both DNT and GPC, we’ll honour the GPC signal.
In the meantime, you can manage your preferences using our cookie consent banner or your browser settings.
11. Changes to this policy
The short version We’ll update this policy if we add new cookies or if the law changes. The date at the top always shows when it was last updated. We’ll notify you of significant changes through our cookie consent banner.
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new cookies, change how we use existing ones, or when the law changes. The date at the top of this policy always shows when it was last updated.
Where changes are significant, we’ll notify you via our cookie consent banner the next time you visit our website.
