— OUR MISSION
Give attention the gym it never had.
Founded by Dan Kemmler and Saj Shah, Momentus Technologies is building the Attention Gym. Glide is its first warm-up, built because being there for the moment is the whole game — and the moments that matter most are the ones we never warm up for.
— THE FOUNDERS
Built by two who bet their careers on attention.
Dan Kemmler
Dan spent two decades helping the world's biggest pharmaceutical companies bring medicines to market. Then burnout brought him to something simpler — and deeper. Meditation became the practice. Attention became the inquiry. Momentus is what he's building from it.
Dan led strategy and operations at three of the world's largest biotech companies — Gilead Sciences, AstraZeneca and Roche — running portfolios worth over $400 million and bringing more than a dozen medicines to the NHS and health systems worldwide. He holds an MBA from Wharton and is a member of the Harvard Flourishing at Work Network.
Since leaving corporate life, he has run a coaching practice grounded in neuroscience, positive psychology and mindfulness, trained as a UK Mental Health First-Aider, listened as a Samaritans volunteer, and committed to a serious Vipassanā meditation practice. Together, these have been a sustained study of attention from the inside.
His conclusion: the disciplines that help people flourish — clinical, cognitive, contemplative — all rest on a single underlying capacity.
Attention.
He co-founded Momentus to build the technology that trains it.
Saj Shah
Saj built a twenty-five-year career across pharmacy, law and pharmaceutical leadership — and almost missed his life doing it. He'd been wearing busyness as a badge of honour, missing the moments that mattered most. Eight years of research into joy became a book, Joynetix — Unlock Your Joy Potential. A TEDx talk reached 2.5 million people. A second talk named the foundation joy itself rests on: attention. Momentus is what he left corporate life to build.
Saj is a dual-qualified pharmacist and lawyer — a rare combination of science and law that shaped fifteen years at AstraZeneca. He rose from Head of Legal, to senior leadership roles in Compliance and R&D — and finally found his passion in developing tech for good as one of the founding members of AstraZeneca's Digital Health department.
Beneath all of it, one question wouldn't let go: where does joy actually come from? Eight years of research followed — behavioural science, genetics, neuroscience, positive psychology. The work became a book, Joynetix — Unlock Your Joy Potential. It became a 2022 TEDx talk that reached 2.5 million people, ending that year in the top four most-watched. And then, in 2025, a second TEDx took the claim further: not just that we should invest our attention wisely, but that joy itself depends on it.
His conclusion: the moments worth being in are only available to the attention that's there to meet them.
Attention.
He left corporate life to co-found Momentus and build the technology that trains it.
